Burzum Activies 2025

As of March 2025, Burzum, the influential one-man black metal project led by Varg Vikernes, has not announced any new activities or releases. In April 2024, Vikernes revealed plans for a forthcoming album titled “The Land of Thulê,” intended to echo the “demo tape quality” sound reminiscent of Burzum’s early works. This album was expected to delve into themes related to Vikernes’ autobiographical writings on the history of black metal. However, since that announcement, there have been no updates regarding its release or further developments from Burzum.
